Landscaping

WASHED OUT LANDSCAPING – Plants and flowers need water to survive. But a descending flood of water does more harm than good. Water easily washes mulch away leaving your plants susceptible to the sun. Worse yet, water washes away any landscaping in its path leaving a trail of dirt and destruction.

TRENCHES – You only have to look at the Grand Canyon to see the power of water. Water seeping off your roof can also create a trench, a.k.a. canyon around your home.  And while an eyes soar if the trench is close to your foundation, it can cause structural damage to your home.

EROSION – Topsoil is necessary for any landscaping project. But left unprotected, water can easily wash it away. Likewise, topsoil also protects the foundation of your home. If water is not correctly diverted away, the topsoil will erode and leave your foundation vulnerable.

FUNGI GROWTH – Water is a breeding ground for fungi that can damage or kill your flowers and trees. Allowing it to pool or collect anywhere around them, is just asking for bacteria to grow that can damage the root system and kill your investment.

INSECT INFESTATION – Water is also a breeding ground for various insects that feast on flowers, plants and trees. Pooling water only raises your risk for infestation, requiring pest control or tree experts to intercede and prevent further damage or death to your vegetation.
